What does that mean? What is a Collective Recruiting System?

I did sign up for GDI a few years ago, because GDI or GLOBAL DOMAIN INTERNATIONAL is a great MLM model with marketing system, support forum, very low start up and low monthly cost, easy to advertise (so I thought) and it looks like everybody wants it and needs it and……joins it….

(If you haven’t heard of GDI, I would highly recommend you have a look. GDI or GLOBAL DOMAIN INTERNATIONAL is a fortune 500 web-hosting/domain provider that provides it’s product (the .ws extension) to the world, as well as provides an awesome income opportunity to customers/affiliates. The monthly fee to own your own .ws website and have hosting from GDI is $10.00. Successful customers/affiliates of the company are very realistically earning MULTIPLE THOUSANDS of dollars per month in affiliate commissions.)

But what happened? Despite the support and training nobody seemed to manage to invite others to join this program. Nobody except the “heavy hitters” of course. How come?

I do not really know the answer to these questions. However, after a while I left GDI with a only few down line members who for some reason did not “duplicate” my marketing efforts. (Actually, this phenomena is not limited to GDI, this applies the same to Trafficwave or any MLM program for that matter.)

Now there are groups of people who took the initiative to form teams and who are promoting team advertising. I do not really know who started it but I can tell you about the Powerpath GDI Team, which started in August 2009.

Dawn, one of the founders wrote:

“Because I have been active in this industry for over 8 years and have spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to do it alone… many hundreds of dollars on marketing, communication, copyrighting and advertising training… recruited hundreds of people over the years who could not learn or duplicate what I do and quit to move on to something else they could fail at instead…”

Since August 2009, when the PowerPathGDI TEAM team started advertising GDI and promoting it’s team work,  it has doubled again and again and again.  The team’s popularity is growing constantly and PowerpathGDI’s  rotators “start to spin so fast the names start flying off the page.”

So, how does this team work, what is involved.

The goal: The PowerPathGDI system works to ensure every member has a full 6×5 matrix in GDI.

The work: We do this by working collectively, everybody advertising for each person in turn.  ALL for ONE and ONE for ALL.

Required: Everybody must commit to advertise. Inactive members will be deleted.

The cost: The TEAM is free to join! It is very easy to do your part.

The new member who joins PowerpathGDI through a rotator link will receive instruction where to advertise (mainly in Traffic exchanges). Everybody will have his turn on the “hot seat” until he has received 6 paying downline members. In the forum members can see who is on the “hot seat” and how many downline members have joined.

I have joined this team in January and yes,  members do receive their 6 and the rotator list is moving all the time.

At the moment Powerpath GDI is undergoing a make over and will launch at the end of April as the NEW and “upgraded” Powerpath GDI 2.0. What will be happening? EVERYTHING!!! The already fantastic team building system is about to become super-charged! Improvements will be added, new banners, new splash pages etc and members will move faster through the “hot seat.”

IT WORKED!!  The problem was that I updated the feedburner in my wordpress blog settings but the update did not show on the blog. After lots of googeling and reading  I found this tip:
Known issues: After you configure your feed, due to caching it probably won’t redirect to Feedburner until you make a new post. (read more here)

During my research I also found out that feedburner “pings”!

My opinion?

I love teams, I prefer to work with a team instead of being all by myself, working at home, me against the whole wide internet world. Also, I need to focus and the team can help me with that.  But as Tim writes, before you join a team, do your research. Find out.

One of the teams I joined is Rusty Shelton’s Oceanswell team (see also my post from 31.1.10), all together  advertising Trafficwave and finding new members, the other team I joined a bit later, the PowerPath GDI Team. (My post about this team will follow).  What I love especially about those two teams is the “collective downline recruiting” system.

One for all and all for one. Everybody advertises the same link  until the team member (who is currrently  in the rotator) has his 5 or 6 downline members. And it works. If you are willing to work and to be patient then this is the best way (I think) to build a downline with active members. Because if the downline member get’s paid, why would he/she cancel, right?
