I have been marketing online for some time and have learned from some very successful marketers and have read my share of the Millions of e-books. BTW, how does your e-book library look like? It seems I’ve got them all, lol.

Here is one activity which is really affordable and very effective! Writing articles to increase traffic to your web site - I am sure you have heard it before. Content is king. You can say that again. That is why writing articles is one of the most utilized Internet marketing media today. Internet surfers just can’t get enough of information on various fields. Providing information through these articles is a surefire way to drive hot traffic to your web site.

From Overture, a keyword suggestion tool, you will see the millions of searches done to a certain keyword. When these keywords are typed on search boxes of search engines, indexed websites containing articles with those keywords will be displayed. And this is what leads traffic to websites with keyword-rich articles. Yes, the magic word is articles.

Why is this so? Here are the benefits that writing articles can give your Internet business.

1. It’s absolutely free.

Too good to be true? Not. Okay, you have to pay for your Internet Service Provider. That’s it. All you need is your thoughts, your computer, and your hands. If you have those, nothing will stop you from typing words that will make you complete that article for your website. On which aspect of that process did you really shell out any cent? Maybe later when your electric bills come.

When you submit your articles to directories, surely, other websites will make use of your article too. With the copyright terms of your articles, the URL of your website will still be in tact and will subsequently direct more traffic to your website.

4. Improve your reputation.

As an Internet marketer, if you plainly display your products on your website, you will not gain much conversion rate. Conversion is when your traffic converts to sales. You have to show that you are knowledgeable on your field. And what better way to show that than by writing articles that will allow you some bragging rights, right?

Just make your creative juices flow and jot down or key in those ideas quickly to jumpstart your article writing momentum. With those benefits listed above, a writer’s block is the last problem you will ever be able to surmount.

I forgot something though. One article doesn’t do it. Try to write at least one article a week (or in two weeks?). At least, regularly, on a consistent basis. (Ouch, I know, but it is worth it!)

Filling your sales funnel with quality leads and prospects is definitely an important part of making sales and growing your business, but not as important as you might think. Without a good system for tracking your contacts and helping you follow up with your leads, it doesn’t matter how many leads you have, because most of them will slip through the cracks and never go anywhere.

Personally I’d much rather have a few qualified leads and a killer follow up system, to ensure that as many of those leads as possible become customers or distributors.

Before you write your prospect list and certainly before you ever consider buying a lead, you should get a system set up where you can enter your leads names and track all the calls, appointments, and emails you have with your leads, as well schedule your follow up activities.

Lets face it, no matter how amazing your product, or how revolutionary your compensation plan, most people aren’t going to buy your product or sign up for your company the first time you talk to them. However, lots of people won’t give you a straight “no” right away either. That’s why it’s so important to create a follow up plan for your leads.

Ultimately you want to get either a “yes” or a “no” from each of your leads. For some people, that may take months and for others it may only take a few days. Having a plan for how you intend to follow up with your leads and a system to keep track of where everyone is in your plan will have a huge impact on the number of sales you make.

When looking for a good system to track your follow up with your leads, look for something that is easy to use and something that will allow you to automate some of your follow up to save you time. While there are several tools available that specialize in one thing like email, contact management or sending email to large lists of people, you will save a lot of money and time if you choose one system that can take care of lots of those things in one place.

Finally, at the end of the day you actually have to take action. Your system should be simple and easy to use, and prompt you to take action. Find something that works, and make sure to consistently and continually follow-up. As they say, ‘The fortune is in the follow-up.’

After many trials and hopping from company to company I have decided it is now time to stop playing around and put my experience to work. Creating multiple income streams is great and necessary nowadays I think, the times are over where you “do one MLM” only.

Too many income streams is not good either, 20 income streams? No thanks you, that’s too confusing for me.

This is my MENU. And once I am done with my research I might add one cash gifting activity. ONE. That’s it ( I hope, lol).

I have been marketing online for a while now and you could think I know it all by now. No, you are wrong. I have tried a lot, used many tools and trainings, changed systems a lot, always on the look out for the “perfect” one. I don’t think it exist.

Because as long as we use it it is not perfect anymore.
